The Sarah Connor Chronicles is scheduled for debut on Fox. It is a continuation of the Terminator film franchise. Produced by Warner Bros. Television and C2-Pictures, it will revolve around the life of Sarah Connor, and her son, John Connor between the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
The series is being developed by the co-presidents of C2-Pictures, Mario Kassar and Andrew G. Vajna, both of whom are producers on the Terminator films and established C2-Pictures solely for the resurrection of the Terminator franchise.
The adapted series will be written by Josh Friedman, who will also Executive Produce along with C2 Pictures Senior Vice President James Middleton and veteran television director David Nutter.
The series will also air on Virgin 1 in the United Kingdom.
