Smallscreen - Real Time with Bill Maher
In 2003, Maher became the host of "Real Time with Bill Maher" on the HBO cable television network, a debate show somewhat similar to "Politically Incorrect," but with a narrower selection of guests.
Maher told Terry Gross of NPR's Fresh Air in 2004 that he enjoys having more serious and well-informed guests on his current program, as opposed to the random celebrities that fleshed out his roundtable discussions on Politically Incorrect.
Since May 2005, he has been a contributing blogger at The Huffington Post.
Maher is an American comedian, actor, writer, and producer. He hosted the late-night television talk show Politically Incorrect on Comedy Central and ABC, and is currently the star of Real Time with Bill Maher on HBO. On June 1, 2006, he also began hosting an Internet-exclusive talk show on Amazon.com entitled Amazon Fishbowl.
Maher is known for his political satire and sociopolitical commentary. His commentaries target a wide swath of topics, from the right-wing to the left-wing, bureaucracies of many kinds, political correctness, Hollywood, the mass media, and persons in positions of high political and social power, among many others. He supports the legalization of cannabis and gay marriage.

Trickle down doesn't work. Big business entices small business into 'invest' into their ideas. So they do. Big business invests more into their ideas. Their stocks go up. Small business is impressed, they invest even more. Stocks keep going up. Great. Everybody is happy. Then when the Big Guys get worried that Barack Obama might somehow get lucky and end up investigating our financial structure, the Big Guys pull out. They grab the money and run, leaving the little guys in the lurch. What do they care? They got what they wanted from day 1. Remember, one of first things George W. Bush did when he took control, was give himself a 100% raise. It's not the economy, it's the GREED.
We can't take it any more. We need someone who has morals and ethics and good judgement. Like Soloman. We need Barack. It's time America did something right.

I think I know what needs to be done, but only a few could be told or it wouldn't work. It's what Bush is doing right now, or thinking about it, in Iraq. It has been used before, I believe during 'Desert Storm'. It worked then and it would work again, given proper consideration and time to progress. It may only take a few months or weeks, but it could definitely work. It could be continuous with very little expense.
Think about this: If every form of broadcasting media would insert suggestive subliminal directions toward 'peaceful' relations with each other, in thier respective languages, nobody would want to terrorize their planet-mates or have 'control' of all of our world resources and assets. We really could all live happily, sharing, contributing to the good of all. Imagine how it could be, feeling secure and at peace with the world. All it would take is Suggesting it be done. You can begin making it happen. Worldwide messages promoting peace. How can that be wrong? All's fair in love and war. We can be the peacemakers of the world and noone has to know. We would have our rewards.
