Is it hot in the kitchen? You bet. Each moment the dining room remains empty, life-savings are shrinking and the owner has to wonder, what have I done? Fortunately, they find out, from none other than Gordon Ramsay. As the fiery chef doles out the brutal truth, they feel like they've done a deal with the devil. In fact, one chef locks him of his restaurant — a Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares first! But if they can follow his advice, the chefs, the customers and Gordon will all delight in the glory of good food and business success.
In the third season, Gordon turns up the heat on four new establishments in dire need of a wake-up call. His best efforts are always met with resistance, so why does he bother? Gordon is a sucker for a happy ending — when a chef finally changes for the better and wows his customers.
"I only have two weeks to do this for each business so nothing is spared," says Ramsay. "It is an exhausting emotional and physical roller coaster for everyone involved."
