Smallscreen - National Geographic Explorer
Beginning Wednesday, August 8, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, NGC’s signature series Explorer returns with a new season of extensive and illuminating investigations.
Celebrating more than 20 years and 54 Emmy awards, Explorer is the longest-running documentary series on cable television.
Upcoming episodes include the science of babies during their first year of life; the saltwater crocodile, or “saltie,” one of the most successful predators the world has seen; and the explosion of Afghanistan’s heroin, exported to a whole new group of users, including young, educated, middle-class Americans.
