Mick Garris developed a love of movies at a young age while growing up in Southern California. As he got older, he became a freelance entertainment critic for various magazines and newspapers.
For eight years, he was the lead singer of the Horsefeathers Quintet. When the band broke up in 1976, Garris was hired as a receptionist for George Lucas' film company: Star Wars Corporation. It was there he made serious film contacts and was able to land a hosting job at the cable access show "Fantasy Film Festival."
Garris began to make a name for himself and started landing writing projects with such top names as John Landis and Stephen Spielberg.
In 1992, Garris worked with Stephen King on "Sleepwalkers," and he teamed up with King again for the highest-rated TV mini-series of 1994, "The Stand." Garris' career as a screenplay writer and director gathered momentum and in 2005, he assembled a group of horror film directors to create the anthology horror series, "Masters of Horror." Today Garris continues to pursue his love of acting and directing for TV and film.

Breck Eisner is no stranger to the entertainment industry – he's the son of former Walt Disney Chief Executive, Michael Eisner. Eisner grew up in Southern California and attended Georgetown University, followed by film school at USC. While at Georgetown, he filmed a contemporary riff on "Alice in Wonderland" and often directed Shakespeare plays on campus.
In 2005, it was announced that Eisner would direct the remakes of classic monster movies "Creature from the Black Lagoon" and George Romero's "The Crazies," both slated for release in 2008.
Writer Matt Venne

Matt Venne graduated from UCLA's English department but later found his true calling in film. He received is MFA from USC's prestigious film school. Aside from being a talented writer, Venne has also taught a class that examined the history of movies through a varied selection of genres including horror, film noir, screwball comedy, the American epic, 50's melodrama, Italian New-Realism, and the Western.

When Brad Anderson started college, he didn't intend on studying film. In fact, while attending Bowdoin College, he majored in Anthropology and Russian. His interests shifted when he went to London to continue his education. Since then, Anderson has become a Sundance Film Festival favorite with his independent movies.
