Sir Anthony Hopkins to play Wolfman’s dad?

Now I’m scared!

It is bad enough I had nightmares after Sir Anthony Hopkins’ initial role as Hannibal Lector in’ The Silence of the Lambs,’  and crunched over my computer everyday, sometimes I get visions that one day I am going to wake up and look like Hopkins as Quasimodo in ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ (1982).

Now IGN is reporting that the 70 year old Hopkins may play the Wolfman’s father in a new Benicio Del Toro movie ‘The Wolf Man.’ Pic will be directed by Mark Romanek (‘One Hour Photo’) with a screenplay by Andrew Kevin Walker (‘Se7en’).

The web site quotes Hopkins as saying. “There’s also a chance I may play the Wolfman in London in a movie with Benicio Del Toro. My agent says it’s a great script but he hasn’t sent it to me yet. He said he just wants to make sure that the deal is all in but I play the Wolfman’s father in Paris. A wonderful part.”

There goes my love for dogs after seeing this movie.
