Paranormal Lockdown is a reality series on TLC starring paranormal researchers Nick Groff and Katrina Weidman.
Each episode sees the pair — who we interviewed about the show during Season 2 — spend 72 hours locked inside a haunted building — hence the “lockdown” in the title of the show.
During that time they sleep inside the location and use cameras and state-of-the-art equipment to capture any paranormal activity inside.
The first season of the series aired on Destination America in March 2016, but the show was moved to TLC for Season 2, which started in December 2016. Read more
During the filming of Paranormal Lockdown, Nick — previously of Ghost Adventures fame — and Katrina — who used to be on A&E’s Paranormal State — have visited a string of notoriously spooky locations including the Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky, Bellaire House in Bellaire, Ohio, and the St. Ignatius Hospital in Colfax, Washington.
The pair are regularly joined on their lockdowns by cameraman Rob Saffi, and they often invite guests on to the show to help them with their investigations. Previous ones have included Ami Bruni, Adam Berry and Grant Wilson — all formerly of Ghost Hunters.
As well as starring, Groff acts as executive producer on the show.
