Weeds the hardiest plants

The U.S. congress will deny ever reading this article.

They will pass legislation to make fuel out of corn, one of the worst crops to do it with.

Unsightly weeds, and algae in particular (which grows in nearly limitless salt water) is the reasonable thing to pick, but the U.S. congress is far from reasonable. They need to channel welfare to the U.S. farmer, not some backwater asian algae grower.
