So, the 'collection' was assembled and walled-in?
Or, were the in-situ items buried and built over, effectively containing them with walls?
Or, were they on surfaces of destroyed prior structures then overlain?
Yeah...PICTURES! 'Worth a thousand (nebulous) words'

Not Another Moon God !!Sep 22nd, 2007 - 20:06:08

I wonder what would happen if excavation was allowed in Saudi Arabia.

Since the Egyptians identify more with Arabia than with being Egyptian.

They should be looking just as eagerly at excavation in Saudi Arabia - a place absent of history before the event of the Prophet and while paling in significance to the Greatness of Egypt, the Egyptians should insist on excavating there also - firstly to learn more about the God's of Muhammad’s father. 360 to be exact - including the three special daughters goddesses of which the Prophet felt necessary to refer to in the Koran - the Arab holy book.

Shouldn't Arabia likewise dig with equal vigour? To satisfy everyone’s yearning for more knowledge of its prehistory - perhaps to uncover even some of the possible connections to the ancient Egyptian Moon and Sun Gods.

P.S. The excavation is great news for Egypt and for the world and can't wait to watch the findings on Discovery/N Geographic Channel!
