If this woman had remained in Iran - the greatest concern would have been what she would be allowed to wear outside of the house. **
But she came to America, undisputed 'Land of the Free' and changed her life's prospects so completely.
She has become an example to all women.
Believe It Or Not
** Police in Iran are allowed to stop women at random and do spot checks to make sure that they are wearing Islamic dress under their required black over-dress. Making sure that both underwear and socks conform to Islamic dress code.
** In Iran women are prohibited from riding scooters, as it is thought that the scooter seat between the legs might cause the woman to get ‘exited’.
** Women are still stoned and hung in many parts of Iran, for adultery or worst the accusation of adultery.
** Women are not allowed to walk the streets without a male in Iran – as it is a crime there.
Could this woman’s space flight been an - up yours - to the treatment of women in most parts of the Islamic world?
