The evidence is clear that we are in the midst of a Global Warming trend and resultant radical climate change. The question is whether we (mankind) have precipitated or accelerated this change or whether this is just past a freak cyclic excursion. I personally think that recent release of follized fuel emissions (largely CO2) has been the culprit. Its not just coincidental that observed temperature increases should begin the beginning of the industrial age. Greenhouse gas emissions must be concidered the prime causal factor. Going forward, the question should be; is there anything we can do to halt or even slow this trend (Reversing the warming trend seems out of our technilogical grasps for anytime into the foreseeable future)? Too bad the U.S. didn't seem to deem it necessary to sign sign on to the Kyoto Protocols.

disaters-tsunamis-hurricanes OH MY!!!
It's called weather, always had it always will...
The weather and climate patterns on this entire planet have been affected by cataclysmic 'happenings' for 10's of thousands of years. At points there have been climate changes that would be almost completely incompatible with 'life' as we know it...and yet here we are alive and thriving on this terrestrial ball...and these changes occured even without man's use of fossil fuels in all the forms which we see today!....give your heads a shake...Mr. Gore...thou dost protest to much simply because you saw a fear 'bandwagon' to put some horses to and march around the world selling this tripe....enjpy your ill-gotten gain for it is worth to you...doesn't mean we should be irresponsible as a people inhabiting this planet but c'mon folks let's not let fear take over because of people who simply see a way to personally gain from 'the next big thing ' on the horizon...
