Ryan Gosling joins up with Carell

Ryan Gosling will star opposite Steve Carell in an untitled Warner Bros. comedy about a father dealing with a marital crisis.

Gosling will play the best friend of Carell’s character, whose life falls apart as he tries to manage his relationship with his children.

John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (“I Love You Phillip Morris”) are directing the spec script by “Bolt” writer Dan Fogelman.

According to Variety, the film is being produced by Denise Di Novi and Carell’s Carousel production company. Charlie Hartsock and Vance DeGeneres are executive producing.

Gosling appears in the upcoming “Blue Valentine” with Michelle Williams and “All Good Things” with Kirsten Dunst.   Note the date on this article may be incorrect due to importing it from our old system.
