Ronan in talks to play teenage assassin

Saoirse Ronan is in negotiations to reunite with her “Atonement” director Joe Wright as the title character in Focus Films’ “Hanna.”

The story follows a 14-year-old Eastern European girl (Ronan) who has been raised by her father to be a CIA assassin. After experiencing the beginnings of adolescence with a French family and their daughter, she is forced back into her father’s deadly world.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Leslie Holleran, Marty Adelstein and Scott Nemes are producing.

Seth Lochhead and David Farr wrote the script.
