Robin Williams to Receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award

As well as the other nominations listed today from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association,  Robin Williams, an 11-time Golden Globe Award nominee and five-time winner, has been chosen to receive the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s highest honor, the Cecil B. DeMille Award for outstanding contribution to entertainment.

The award, voted by the board of directors of the HFPA, will be presented to Williams at the 62nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, to be held Sunday, January 16, 2005, and telecast live on NBC (8-11 pm EST).
