Rip Tide – Book Review

Pirates attack a cargo ship off the Somalian coast.  What makes this unusual is that the crew includes a middle class British born Pakistani who has no reason to be anywhere near Somali.  What is going on?

The alarm bells start shrieking in the corridors ofM15 – especially when an undercover agent ends up dead in Athens for asking awkward questions.  Liz Carlyle has the task of investigating.

Soon it becomes clear that M15’s operations in Athens have been infiltrated.  A charity organization is not all it seems.  Unraveling the tangled connections between Pakistan, Greece and Somalia is not easy.

Action packed, very pacy novel; which spins along at a fast speed.  Liz Carlyle is a likeable, intelligent heroine who is not content to sit back and let the guys do everything. A light read for a summer day.
