All You Need Is Love, and a Ticket To Ride…to Los Angeles on July 7th as iconic Beatles drummer Ringo Starr is throwing a big birthday party for himself.
The theme of the party is peace and love! Ringo is one of rock and roll’s most beloved figures. He was bandmates with Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison, known to you as the Beatles.
Not only was he was one the most solid drummers of the era, but his humor and charm were always even keel when the others in the band were more volatile and moody.
His solo recordings show an interesting batch of songs. Some were huge hits, others were less critical darlings.
Starr will celebrate his birthday this Monday, July 7, 2014, in Los Angeles where, Ringo and his wife Barbara, and John Varvatos will join family, friends and fans in front of The Capitol Records Building and share a “Peace & Love” (a part of the David Lynch Foundation) salute at noon.
The now traditional Peace & Love celebration is open to the public and Ringo invites everyone everywhere to think or say Peace & Love, or in a special initiative this year share their #peacerocks pictures at noon their time on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
