DreamWorks has acquired the comedy pitch “Who Invited Her?” from writer Sascha Rothchild with Reese Witherspoon attached to star in and produce.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rothchild will write the screenplay.
No director is attached to the project yet.
The film centers on a woman (Witherspoon) who decides to crash a men’s bachelor party weekend.
Witherspoon would produce through her Type A Films along with Gary Foster and Russ Krasnoff through their Krasnoff Foster Entertainment.
Witherspoon stars in and is a producer on 20th Century Fox’s upcoming “This Means War” that also stars Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.
