Razorlight hits the road for an eight city U.S. tour

London-based Razorlight will hit the road for an eight city U.S. tour in support of the March 10th release of the band’s third studio album ‘Slipway Fires’ – which features the Top 5 UK single “Wire To Wire.”

Razorlight will kick off the tour in Boston on Monday, March 9th (at Middle East), and then head to New York the next night for the official album release celebration at Hiro Ballroom March 10th. The band will then take the stage at The Late Show with David Letterman for a March 11th performance.

The tour will feature stops at Philadelphia, Chicago, Nashville, and Atlanta. Razorlight also plans to return to SXSW (South By Southwest) Music and Media Conference in Austin, Texas – where they were discovered five years ago in 2004.

In addition to a night time gig at Stubb’s opening for PJ Harvey, Razorlight will perform at one of Filter magazine’s “Revenge Of Cedar Street” daytime showcases at the Cedar Street Courtyard on 4th Street in Austin (sponsored by Santa Monica’s KCRW radio), open to all badge holders.

Razorlight features principal songwriter and mastermind, front-man and lead singer/guitarist Johnny Borrell, guitarist/vocalist Björn Ågnen, bassist Carl Dalemo, and drummer Andy Burrows.
