Rapper Foxy Brown robbed by four people in Brooklyn

Rapper Foxy Brown has had some brushes with the law this year, but this time she was the victim. The performer was mugged by four people at 5:30 a.m. Saturday in the East New York section of Brooklyn. The rapper had her Louis Vuitton bag, $500 in cash and credit cards stolen when she was jumped by four people – reportedly her ex-boyfriend Roshawn Anthony and three females.

Anthony, 23, has been charged with robbery, but arraignment information has not been released as of early Sunday.

TMZ.com has reported Brown broke off a relationship with Anthony after she discovered he was a pimp, and that the attack and robbery could have been retribution. The website also reported Brown had her hearing aid pulled out during the attack, and chunks of hair weave yanked out.

In August, 2006, Brown, 27, plead guilty to a misdemeanor assault charges that stemmed from a fight at a nail salon. The assault was the result of an argument with workers over the cost of a manicure in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood on Aug. 29, 2004. She received a three year probation sentence from the guilty charge.

The rapper was also charged with battery and resisting an officer with violence in Florida on Feb. 15, 2007. Police have stated she threw hair glue at a beauty shop employee – who had asked her to leave as the shop was closing. The case is still pending. She is also facing problems in New York for leaving the state without permission.
