Sarah Forsyth said she was ordered to help Prince Harry with an art project at Eton College and secretly recorded a conversation with him to back her claim.
Forsyth said she was treated unfairly by the college during contract negotiations in 2003 and that the head of her department, Ian Burke, had bullied her. She also claimed to be a victim of sex discrimination, which was rejected by the employment tribunal.
Forsyth insisted that in 2002 she had written most of Harry’s art class journal, something she said “probably constituted cheating.” Passing the class was required for Prince Harry’s admittance to the Sandhurst military academy.
He denied cheating and an investigation by the exam board found no evidence of cheating. Prince Harry is said to be “delighted” that he has been cleared of the accusation.
