From Monsters and Critics.com Royal Watch News Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, has visited a school for pupils with little or no sight. She was the first royal visitor in over six years to the 170-year-old West of England School and College in Exeter, Devon, which has 150 pupils, many of who have multiple disabilities. Dressed in a blue two piece suit, the duchess engaged with the children, getting on her hands and knees to help one with a puzzle and learned how the school's state-of-the-art traffic light and pedestrian crossing system worked. When one pupil asked Camilla if she spoke French, she later found the time to seek him out and engage in a conversation with him in the language. She also tried out specially-adapted kitchen equipment that the school has to teach pupils how to cook. (C) BANG Media International © Copyright 2007 by monstersandcritics.com.
