From Monsters and Critics.com Royal Watch News Denmark's Queen Margrethe's two-year-old dog Helike was taken to Copenhagen's Animal Hospital after being hit by a vehicle. The daschund - who was given to the queen as a birthday present from her husband Prince Henrik - was running around the royal residence of Fredensborg Palace in north Zealand when it was hit by an unknown vehicle. Helike - who was named after one of the three nannies of Greek god Zeus - is described as being in a "serious but stable" condition at the hospital. Details of how the dog was hit have not been revealed. Queen Margrethe, 68, has two children with her husband of 40 years, Prince Henrik - 39-year-old Frederik Andre Henrik Christian and 38-year-old Joachim Holger Waldemar Christian.
