Queen Elizabeth doesn't say hello

Queen Elizabeth
Britain's Queen Elizabeth 'never' says 'Hello' or 'Goodbye'.
The monarch has been filmed for a documentary, 'Our Queen' - which saw filmmaker Michael Waldman shadow her throughout her Diamond Jubilee year last year - and the director was surprised at how 'hands-on' she is.
Michael said: 'After months of filming her encoutners during an eventful Jubilee year, I noticed that she has another trick, she never says 'Hello' or 'Goodbye', which must save thousands of words a day.
'From the high points of the Diamond Jubilee weekend to the daily chores of monarchy, it's clear that she is a hands-on sovereign.'
Michael was also surprised when he saw the queen's quirky taste in home furnishings at her Balmoral estate - which include a red cushion with a cheeky message.
He explained to Radio Times magazine: 'The queen's private sitting room is scattered with books and papers, there are framed photos including one of George VI marked simply, 'Papa, 1958', several stuffed toys - and a cushion that's delightfully embroidered with 'It's good to be queen.' '
