Princess Madeleine has prepared wedding guest list

Princess Madeleine says 'the guest list is ready' for her wedding.

The Swedish royal is marrying financier Chris O'Neill on June 8, and has got many things ticked off her to-do list in preparation for the big day.

When asked about how well she was coping with the preparations, Madeleine said: 'Time flies when you're having fun. We're planning everything to the last detail even though I'm in New York and working for [charity] the World Childhood Foundation.

'We will have an afternoon wedding followed by dinner held out at Drottningholm Palace, which I am very happy about. Drottningholm Palace means a lot to me because I was born and grew up there.'

When asked if the guest list for the wedding had been compiled, Madeleine told Hello! magazine: 'Yes, I dare say that it is. Invitations will be sent out before April 1, so we have some time to ourselves. It has been a difficult process when you want to invite everyone but unfortunately it's not possible.'

The ceremony itself will take place at the church of Stockholm's gilded Royal Palace and among those present will be the pagegirls.

The princess explained: 'Chris will have a Best Man at his side. And just like my mum and my sister, I will have young bridesmaids, it is a wedding tradition that I want to pass on.'
