Duchess Catherine
Duchess Catherine admits she is nervous about giving birth.
The royal - who is pregnant with her first child with husband Prince William - admitted her nerves as she returned to royal duties yesterday (19.02.13), visiting the Action on Addiction charity, which she is a patron of.
Catherine chatted with residents of Hope House in London, who had made paintings charting their recoveries from addiction.
Lisa, a mother-of-three, told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'I did ask her if she was nervous [about giving birth]. She said it would be unnatural if she wasn't. She's human like us.
'I said 'Congratulations and good luck, I hope it all goes OK.' '
Another person the duchess spoke to was Natalie, who is due to give birth to her second child in July, around the same time as Catherine.
She said: 'We're due about the same time. She's been unwell and feeling better now and I felt pretty much the same the first time.'
For the official engagement Catherine wore a black and white MaxMara Studio dress from the 2011 collection and accessorised her look with House Of Fraser court shoes. She also wore an Asprey diamond button pendant, worth £2,800.
