Bruce Willis thinks Queen Elizabeth is as 'tough as nails'.

The 'A Good Day To Die Hard' actor is a huge fan of the 86-year-old monarch but says he wouldn't want to cross her.

Bruce - who is currently in the UK with his wife Emma and their 10-month-old daughter, Mabel - said: 'Can I tell you how much I like London? Because my wife and I and our new baby, Mabel, we are here for just about two-and-a-half months, almost three months. I'm a big fan of the queen and all the Royals, but I like that queen.

'She's as tough as nails, tough. A sweetheart.'

However, he doesn't think the queen - who celebrated her Diamond Jubilee last year - could be able to take on his 'Die Hard' alter-ego John McClane because anyone would struggle to fight him.

He told UK TV show 'Daybreak': 'No, I think John McClane could take her.'

Bruce is not the only fan of the queen - Cheryl Cole, Gary Barlow, Kylie Minogue and David Beckham are all admirers of the royal.
