Pippa Middleton
Pippa Middleton's 'Celebrate' book has received rave reviews on her parents' website.
The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge's debut tome may have received a hail of criticism when it was released for featuring often obvious advice, but posts on her parents' Party Pieces website show the book in a much more positive light.
One five star review by user Chris reads: 'I just love this book. It is brilliantly presented and a joy to read. I love all the recipes and in fact everything about the book. Well done Pippa, look forward to another book!'
Pippa - a graduate of Edinburgh University - was reportedly paid an advance of £400,000 by publishers Penguin for the book, but it came under fire for giving advice such as turkeys make an ideal meat to serve at large gatherings.
Another user, oscars11 reviewed the book, writing on the website: 'I picked this up at a local bookseller to browse through. I was immediately taken with it and bought 3 copies for me and both my daughters (29 & 25). We all think it is a lovely book with some good ideas and nicely written.'
Pippa, 29, has maintained a dignified silence over the criticism of the book, but said of some of the more simple advice she has given, that she 'had to cover the basics'.
