Duchess of Cornwall becoming queen branded 'lunacy'

The Duchess of Cornwall
Britain's Duchess of Cornwall's rumoured ambition to become queen has been brushed off as 'lunacy'.
The 65-year-old royal - who is married to heir to the throne Prince Charles - replied 'you never know' when quizzed about her future plans to rule the UK last week, but one of Camilla's pals has now laughed off the claim, saying the duchess is too lazy for the role and likes nothing more than lounging around in her nightgown.
A friend of Camilla's told Tatler magazine: 'It is absolute lunacy to to say that Camilla wants to be queen. Take it from me, Camilla is the type of person who likes to stay in her nightie for as long as possible in the morning, if not the day.'
The royal sparked speculation she might be eyeing up Queen Elizabeth's throne when a six-year-old girl questioned her motives during a visit to St. Mary's primary school in south west London.
Camilla, who was official duties as the new patron for children's literacy charity, Beanstalk, laughingly replied: 'You never know.'
She would officially be titled Princess Consort should Charles ascend to the throne because of mixed reception from the public when the pair wed in 2005 due to rumours about her part in ending his marriage to the late Princess Diana.
