Duchess Catherine 'has everything going for her'

Britain's Duchess Catherine will not suffer a similar fate to the late Princess Diana because she 'has everything going for her'.

The 31-year-old royal - who is currently expecting her first child with husband Prince William - has been a huge media target since marrying into the royal family in 2011, but unlike William's mother, she is able to deal with it because she has such a strong family around her.

Julian Temperley - father of designer Alice Temperely who has worked with the former Kate Middleton in the past - told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: 'She has everything going for her, and everything Diana didn't. She's got her mother, her brother, sister, father. Diana didn't have her family support, even at the beginning, and she was 10 years younger than Kate.'

Diana - who was killed in a Paris car crash in August 1997 - struggled to cope with the press invasion into her life when she married Prince Charles in 1981, which got worse when the couple separated in 1995.

However, Catherine has coped a lot better and has been given much more protection by William and the royal family.
