EA SPORTS have mocked up a 'Royal Edition' of FIFA 13 for Britain's Prince Harry.

Following the 28-year-old royal's admission he liked to 'thrash' his fellow soldiers at the soccer video game during military duty in Afghanistan, the company have created a limited edition of FIFA to send to Harry at London's Clarence House.

Shaun White, Head of PR for EA SPORTS, said: 'This is proof once and for all that FIFA 13 really is the crown jewels of football video games. With over three million football fans including everyone's favourite royal playing FIFA 13, we wondered who Prince Harry would sign and manage in his FIFA 13 Ultimate Team.

'We think the likes of Mark 'Noble', Zat 'Knight' and Kevin 'Prince' Boateng are dead certs for his Royal XI.'

This comes after the fun-loving red-head confessed he spent his free time playing computer games with his army colleagues in an interview conducted upon his return from his four-month stint as an Apache helicopter pilot.

He said: 'There were a couple of us that got pushed forward to the front seat instead of the back seat.

'It's a joy for me because I'm one of those people who loves playing PlayStation and Xbox, so with my thumbs I like to think that I'm probably quite useful.

'You can ask the guys, I thrash them at FIFA the whole time.'
