Pippa Middleton
Pippa Middleton is not included in the line-up for the Coast to Coast race, despite her saying she was keen to take part.
The 29-year-old beauty - younger sister of Britain's Duchess Catherine - had said she planned the gruelling multi-sport race in New Zealand next month, saying it would be an incentive to lay off on the calorie-heavy festive diet.
However, her name is missing from the entry list although race organisers haven't ruled out Pippa entering under another moniker.
Last month, keen athlete wrote in The Spectator magazine: 'Next year I am hoping to do the Coast to Coast in New Zealand, which is a triathlon (running, cycling and kayaking) from the South Island to Sumner Beach on the Pacific.
'It's in February, so I'd better hold back on the food and drink, starting now.'
The race runs across the country's South Island, starting on the West Coast and finishing on Sumner Beach, Christchurch, on the edge of the Pacific Ocean.
Entries for the remaining places in the race are still being accepted.
