Prince William's Twilight request
Dec 31, 2012, 12:01 GMT

Prince William
Prince William reportedly requested to watch 'Twilight' over 'Skyfall' at the royal Christmas party.
The second in line to the British throne had already seen this year's James Bond thriller so asked if the film could be switched for the American Teen vampire movie at the annual royal Christmas party, held at the family's Sandringham estate.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, the move was not popular with
around 100 staff, servants, police and Sandringham estate workers who had been looking forward to watching the latest 007 escapade last Thursday (27.12.12); rather than 'Twilight', which was released in 2008.
William, 30, and his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, had made their way over to the party after spending Christmas with her family in their hometown of Bucklebury, England.
The prince broke with royal tradition to spent the festive period with the Middleton family, but he and his pregnant wife decided she should spend the holiday in the comfort of her parents, Michael and Carole's, home as she has spent much of the past month battling severe morning sickness.
Queen Elizabeth had attended the Christmas Day (25.12.12) church service in Sandringham after recovering from a cold, accompanied by her granddaughters, princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.
Her husband Prince Philip - who was forced to miss the service last year because of a heart problem - also attended, as did the Duke of York and the Earl, the Countess of Wessex and many more members of the royal family.
William's brother, Prince Harry, was unable to take part in Christmas celebrations at all, as he is currently serving on the front line in Afghanistan as a helicopter pilot.
