Nov 30, 2012, 12:02 GMT

Duchess Catherine
Britain's Duchess of Cambridge is to visit her old school today (30.11.12).
Duchess Catherine attended the St Andrew's School in Pangbourne, Berkshire, South East England, from 1986 to 1995, when she was known as Kate Middleton, and will join current pupils to celebrate St. Andrew's Day.
A spokesman for Catherine - who married Prince William last year - said: 'She was invited to go back and was very keen to do so. It's the first time in many years she has been there.'
The 30-year-old brunette will meet teachers and students at a private lunch, visit the pre-prep school for under-fives and formally open a new Astroturf playing field.
The duchess - who played hockey at St Andrew's, will meet the hockey team, tour the school and see pupils competing in the Progressive Games - traditional indoor games marking St Andrew's Day.
Catherine joined the school when her family returned to England in 1986 after spending two-and-a-half years in Jordan.
