Britain's Duchess of Cambridge has shared photos of her travels to Borneo.
Duchess Catherine has posted photos online from her trip to the South East Asian rainforest, depicting nature and wildlife.
The photographs were taken in September, as the duchess and her husband, Prince William, were on an official royal visit to the region.
As part of their trip, the couple visited the Danum Valley Research Station to highlight the work being undertaken to protect the rainforest and its wildlife, including the orangutan.
Catherine - who was previously known as her maiden name of Kate Middleton - snapped pictures of light breaking through a clearing in the forest, some of the magnificent trees and even a rare glimpse of an orangutan in silhouette, and endangered species.
Some photographs were taken through the window of an aircraft, showing the rainforest and the weather surrounding it.
While some of the pictures lack technical composure, they have been praised for their technical effort.
Photographer Kent Gavin told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'It's wonderful that Kate has been so active with her photography and been able to capture so much incredible scenery on her tour.
'I feel sure that as time goes by she will improve the technical quality of her pictures, as she's sure to be visiting many more incredible places in her life as a royal.
'I can recall that the Duke of York took up photography for a while so maybe he could give her a few tips.'
