Prince William
Britain's Prince William has hinted he is to take on more royal duties.
The Duke of Cambridge has fuelled speculation he could be set to leave the Royal Air Force (RAF) after advertising for an additional press officer to join his team of two.
A spokesman told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: 'The post has been created to take into account the growing work of the communications team, especially in the light of the impending Household Office move to Kensington Palace, which is taking place from the end of December through to Easter next year.'
Applicants are not expected to receive much more money per year than £30,000 and potential candidates are required to be familiar with 'digital media', but there is expected to be some overseas travel included as part of the role.
The 30-year-old royal currently works as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot after qualifying in September 2010 and then gaining his captaincy with the RAF in June this year.
The prince and his wife Duchess Catherine - who was known as Kate Middleton prior to the couple's nuptials last year - attend a number of royal engagements each month and recently represented Queen Elizabeth during her Diamond Jubilee year on a tour of the South Pacific.
The couple's festive programme was announced earlier this week and will see them take in a rugby match between Wales and New Zealand at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium on November 24 and they will also attend a screening of 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' on December 12 for the 65th Royal Performance at London's Leicester Square.
