Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend this year's British Military Tournament.
Prince William and Duchess Catherine - who was known as Kate Middleton prior to the couple's nuptials last year - will be the star attractions at next month's three-service military tournament, a production which is famed for its 'breathtaking performances of military theatre'.
Martin Rutledge, Chief Executive of ABF The Soldier's Charity, said: 'We are thrilled that TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend this year's British Military Tournament. Not only is the tournament an exciting spectacle and a great family day out, it is our biggest fundraising event and brings together the three single Service charities supporting every generation of our military family.'
'To have the duke and duchess in attendance is a true honour.'
The event raises funds for all three branches of military service, Army, Navy and Air Force.
The two-hour show will include battle re-enactments, death-defying stunts, and will also feature events in the life of William's grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, throughout her 60-year reign.
The fundraising spectacle will take place at London's Earls Court from December 8-9.
