Duchess Catherine
Duchess Catherine's style has led to a 'significant increase' in British brand interest.
The 30-year-old royal - who was known as Kate Middleton prior to her and Prince William's nuptials in April last year - has boosted businesses for mainstream British companies such as Reiss, LK Bennett, Whistles and Zara with her fashion choices.
A Reiss spokesman told The People newspaper: 'There is no question that Kate choosing to wear our brand has had an impact.
'We have noticed a significant increase in terms of brand interest and awareness globally.'
Fashion designer Alice Temperley also recently credited the Duchess of Cambridge for being a 'breath of fresh air' with her style, which has inspired Britons to experiment with their look.
Alice explained: 'Kate Middleton has been brilliant for British fashion and great for the whole economy.
'She is a breath of fresh air and has encouraged people to experiment and combine high fashion with high street fashion.'
Earlier this month, Catherine was credited for Alexander McQueen's increased profits after wearing a wedding dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen when she married William last year.
The fashion house recorded a 27 per cent increase in profits after announcing a £5 million profit and sales of £41 million for 2011.
