Prince Albert parties in Marbella

Prince Albert of Monaco partied in Marbella over the weekend.

The billionaire prince was joined by friends as he went for a meal at La Sala Restaurant in Puerto Banus, where the party quaffed Laurent Perrier Champagne while enjoying a meal and the upmarket venue's live music.

The group then continued their party downstairs in the restaurant's adjoining club, Aqwa Mist, continuing to drink champagne and party the night away.

Since its inauguration earlier this year Aqwa Mist has attracted an array of A-list stars including Eva Longoria, Amir Khan and rapper Tinie Tempah who performed an extended set at the nightclub in the summer.

Although the prince has been out and about with his friends in the Spanish city, his wife, Princess Charlene, has recently paid tribute to her home country, hosting a South Africa gala in Monte Carlo.

The former Olympic swimmer - who married Albert last year - honoured her native country with the glamorous gala held at Monte Carlo Opera House at the end of last month.

Charlene was joined by Albert and members of her family at the gala, which began a week long celebration of the country, known as Touch of Africa, which ends on October 6. Among those taking place in the festivities were Charlene's brother Gareth, Swedish model Victoria Silvstedt and Sir Roger Moore.

Charlene is very proud of her roots and ahead of the recent London Olympics, she invited the South African swimming team to train in Monaco.
