Prince Guillaume and Countess Stephanie de Lannoy
Luxembourg's Prince Guillaume and Countess Stephanie de Lannoy had a wedding rehearsal yesterday (04.10.12).
The couple were seen visiting Our Lady of Luxembourg Cathedral - which was also the site of the nuptials between the prince's parents Grand Duke Henri and Maria Teresa - to finalise details for their big day, which takes place on October 20.
The couple were congratulated by well-wishers on their return to the Ducal Palace.
After the wedding, Belgian Stephanie will gain Luxembourg nationality, it has been decided by parliament in a ruling which will be confirmed on October 9.
Earlier this week, the guest list for the nuptials was disclosed, with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, King Harald and Queen Sonia of Norway, and Queen Beatrix of Holland among those invited.
Norway's future king and queen, Crown Prince Haakon and Princess Mette Marit, will also attend the spectacle to see Europe's last single royal heir tie the knot.
But one of the biggest journeys to attend the wedding will be made by Crown Prince Naruhito of Japan and while Danish royals Crown Prince Frederik and his wife Mary are yet to appear on the guest list, it is still thought they could attend as more names are set to be added to the list.
Several Luxembourg royals such as Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Prince Felix, Prince Louis and Princess Tessy, Princess Alexandra and Prince Sebastian will also don their best clothes for the occasion.
The two-day ceremony will be broadcast on big screens in the city.
