Duchess Catherine boosts British fashion

Duchess Catherine
Duchess Catherine has boosted the British economy through her fashion choices.
Designer Alice Temperley believes the brunette royal has been 'great' for the industry after a number of her striking outfits were purchased by the public after she was pictured wearing the garments.
She said: 'She's been brilliant for British fashion and great for the whole economy.
'There is no one else who has an effect like her. It has really brought British fashion to the forefront again.'
The designer's pieces have been worn by both Catherine - formally known as Kate Middleton before her marriage to Prince William - and her sister Pippa Middleton.
Alice believes the 30-year-old duchess has encouraged others to 'experiment' with their choice of outfits and thinks the secret to her success is her mixing of price ranges.
Speaking at the launch of her Somerset by Temperley collection at John Lewis, she added to the Daily Telegraph newspaper: 'She is a breath of fresh air and has encouraged people to experiment and combine high fashion with high-street fashion. She is a really nice girl as well.'
