Prince Harry to appear at Paralympics

Prince Harry
Britain's Prince Harry will make his first public appearance since his naked photographs at the Paralympic Games.
The 27-year-old royal - who was pictured playing a game of strip billiards in Las Vegas earlier this month - wants to continue 'as normal', despite the furore about the snaps, and will attend the London event on Friday (31.08.12) because he feels an affinity with injured servicemen who are now sportspeople.
A source said: 'Harry knows all eyes will be on him when he turns up at the Paralympics and he is of course expecting it to be a bit of a circus.
'He is keen to get his first public appearance out of the way so he can try to carry on as normal and this behind him.
'As an official ambassador to the Games he is keen to do a good job for the athletes and for Britain.
'And more than that he has huge personal interest and involvement with injured troops.'
Meanwhile, the prince has also taken down his own Facebook page following concerns for his privacy.
In addition to his own page, one under a pseudonym Spike Wells - largely believed to be the prince - has also vanished.
