Britain's Prince Harry is set to become a godfather for the second time.

The royal is wanted by his friend, ex-royal equerry Mark Dyer, to take on the spiritual wellbeing of his newborn son Jasper and Mark has been praising Harry's 'gentle' nature.

A source told the Mail On Sunday newspaper: 'Mark was discussing the idea of Harry being godfather at Natalie Pinkham's wedding in Portugal recently.

'He and his wife Amanda think Harry will make an excellent godparent. He says Harry is very gentle with Jasper. Of course there was also a joke about them all having ginger hair.'

Harry is already godfather to his former nanny Tiggy Legge-Bourke's son Fred.

Meanwhile, Harry has revealed he was shocked to see his grandmother Queen Elizabeth make a surprise guest appearance alongside Daniel Craig as James Bond at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

He said: 'You don't expect the queen to do something like that. What she does in her spare time is her spare time!'
