Prince Harry at the Dark Knight Rises premiere in London

Britain's Prince Harry attended the European premiere of 'Dark Knight Rises' last night (18.07.12).

The 27-year-old royal was joined by his cousin Princess Eugenie at the Waterloo IMAX debut of the film, away from the Leicester Square event attended by stars including Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Morgan Freeman.

Harry wore a dark blue suit and an open white shirt to the event, while Princess Eugenie donned a short white dress teamed with a dark leather jacket.

She also brought along her boyfriend Jack Brooksbank.

The film - the third in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy - has been well received by critics, and sees the hero face his ultimate nemesis, Bane, played by British actor Tom Hardy.

Anne, who plays Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the movie, revealed at the premiere she loved learning how to fight.

She said: 'Being in the movie was fun because I had to learn to beat up guys - I enjoyed that a little too much.

'The first minute you work with Christian Bale it's just amazing. I found him to be really inspiring. It was really great to work with him.'
