Queen Elizabeth
Queen Elizabeth's popularity has soared in the UK.
The 86-year-old monarch - who is celebrating her Diamond Jubilee this year - is favoured by 80 per cent of Britons, an increase of six per cent since January.
However, in the survey of 2,009 people, the queen only managed to come third in the overall popularity list with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge coming first and second respectively.
Prince Harry came fourth with 79 per cent, an increase of seven per cent, while the Duchess of Cornwall is the most unpopular senior royal with just a 33 per cent approval rating.
Although the queen's popularity has increased, most people are still opposed to renaming Parliament's clock tower the Elizabeth Tower.
The survey, by the pollsters Angus Reid Public Opinion, found 54 per cent of people disagreed with renaming the tower and only 34 per cent were in favour.
Mario Canseco, vice president of Angus Reid, said: 'On the renaming of the Big Ben clock tower. I think it just shows the public don't want to see any change to what they regard as an iconic building.'
