Prince Charles' jealousy over Mick Jagger
Jul 17, 2012, 12:01 GMT

Prince Charles
Prince Charles used to be jealous of Sir Mick Jagger.
The heir to the British throne was reportedly annoyed when his then-wife Princess Diana invited the Rolling Stones rocker to tea at Kensington Palace.
According to new book 'Mick: The Wild Life And Mad Genius Of Mick Jagger' by Christopher Andersen, the prince was unimpressed with the decision by his new spouse to arrange a meeting with the womanising musician and demanded she revoke the invitation.
After a row, Diana agreed to cancel the tea date and invited Phil Collins to the palace instead.
10 years later Charles was unhappy when Mick kept one hand in his pocket while shaking hands with the royal at a Prince's Trust dinner.
Diana said afterwards 'Charles was appalled. It's the kind of silly thing the Royal Family never forget.'
Charles and Diana divorced in 1996, one year before she tragically died in a car accident in Paris.
