Princesses Victoria and Estelle with Prince Daniel
Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria celebrated her 35th birthday with daughter Princess Estelle on Saturday (14.07.12).
The royal and her husband Prince Daniel took their five-month-old daughter to a holiday retreat at Solliden Palace on the island of Oland, on the east coast of Sweden, to celebrate the milestone along with her parents King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.
Carl led the crowd gathered in the garden of Solliden - the summer residence of the Swedish royal family - in a version of 'Happy Birthday' for his daughter on Victoria Day, while welcoming the newest member of the brood.
He said: 'We have a new little ray of sunshine here among us today, Princess Estelle.'
Thousands of well-wishers were there to cheer on the princess, and she attempted to speak to as many as possible, revealing she'd had a 'great birthday'.
She said: 'I've had a great birthday and really appreciate that so many have come here today.'
In the evening, Victoria retreated to Borgholm Sports Field along with her fellow guests, including siblings Prince Carl Philip and Princess Madeleine, to attend an annual musical extravaganza, which saw the host, Mark Levengood, joking with the crowd and the king about the horrible weather last year.
