Prince William's best friend says he is the 'last to find out' when anything happens to his royal pal.

Nightclub owner Guy Pelly is close to both William - even arranging his bachelor party before he married Duchess Catherine and 30th birthday celebrations - and his younger brother Prince Harry but insists he doesn't know many royal secrets.

Guy said: 'Even journalists have stopped calling me when something [to do with the Royals] happens. I'm always the last to find out the news nowadays.'

The 30-year-old entrepreneur is due to open a new club, Tonteria, in London later this year and joked he will ban his royal friends, along with William's wife Catherine to prevent crowds of people hoping to catch a glimpse of them descending on the nightspot.

Guy - whose closed his club Public earlier this year following complaints from local residents about 'anti-social behaviour' - added in an interview with the Daily Telegraph newspaper: 'Make it the only bar in the world which they're banned from? I think that would work!'
