'Romantic' Prince William
Jun 27, 2012, 12:01 GMT

Prince William and Duchess Catherine
Britain's Prince William likes to 'make romantic gestures'.
Friends of the royal - who tied the knot with Duchess Catherine in April 2011 - have revealed the prince has a deeply romantic side and likes to surprise his wife.
A source told Us Weekly: 'William believes romance is important. He's not cheesy but he does like to make romantic gestures.'
Meanwhile, Catherine likes to make time for her family when William is away in Wales working as an RAF search and rescue pilot.
The duchess is spending increasing amounts of time at the couple's Kensington Palace apartment and is often joined by her sister Pippa Middleton.
The source said: 'If William is not in London, she'll spend time with Pippa , who comes for a visit when they're both free.'
However, this may not last for much longer as Pippa is reportedly planning to move to New York in a bid to salvage her reputation after the recent gun photo scandal in Paris, when a man in a car she was in brandished a realistic looking toy gun on photographers.
A source said: 'Pippa had been considering a move to Paris. But now that's off the list she has been investigating her options in America.'
'She would love to move to New York as she'll be spending time there when her book launches in the autumn.'
Pippa was not questioned by French police due to lack of evidence, but has since quit her job at catering company Table Talk and actively avoided the London party scene.
A move to New York would help protect her privacy and conveniently coincide with the launch of her party-planning guide, 'Celebrate', in October.
