Prince William plans low-key birthday

Prince William
Prince William will have a 'low-key' birthday celebration tomorrow (21.06.12).
The royal - who will turn 30 - is not planning a big bash for the milestone birthday but will instead mark the occasion in a private fashion at his home in north Wales.
A St James's Palace spokesman said: 'He'll be spending it in a low-key, private fashion.'
William's wife Catherine is reportedly hoping to stage a huge bash for her husband's birthday although it won't take place tomorrow.
She has held a series of meetings with her husband's closest pals in order to arrange a party he will never forget with sources saying she is ''pulling out all the stops''.
The Duchess of Cambridge - previously Kate Middleton - has already sorted out one of the presents for William, a royal portrait of herself.
Catherine posed for the canvas artwork - by artist Nicky Philipps, who has also painted William and Prince Harry in the past- on four separate occasions while her husband was away on a six-week tour of duty in the Falklands earlier this year.
A source said: 'Most couples wouldn't think a picture of a loved one would be a great present, but this is a big deal.
'It's the first portrait Catherine has sat for, which is a huge thing for the royals.'
William's father, Prince Charles, is thought to be paying for the present, and the duchess is said to have plenty more gifts 'up her sleeve' for her husband's birthday.
