Prince Philip
Prince Philip will complete his first official engagement since being released from hospital tonight (15.06.12).
The 91-year-old royal - who spent six days in a London facility where he was treated for a bladder infection - will chair the Senior Colonel's Conference for his role as Colonel of the Grenadier Guards and host a dinner at Buckingham Palace tonight.
The Duke of Edinburgh was taken to hospital after falling ill following the Diamond Jubilee Thames River Pageant where he spent four hours on a barge in adverse weather conditions.
Although he was forced to miss a number of recent engagements including the Diamond Jubilee concert and a recent trip to Nottingham with his wife Queen Elizabeth, the Duke has gone on to make a full recovery.
Meanwhile a pensioner who used to work for the royal family has revealed Prince Philip's 'naughty side'.
Audrey Crooks, who sent telegrams to people celebrating milestone birthdays and anniversaries for 24 years on behalf of the queen, revealed the fun loving prince often made her laugh.
She told Getbracknell.co.uk 'Prince Philip was very naughty - the things he would come out with were funny.
